Champion of Champions
An international football forum for children held every June at Arena Zlatograd in the Rhodope Mountains, a few kilometres from the Greek border.
Zlatograd · Since 2016

Champion of Champions is the tournament our story began with. Every June, children's teams from Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, Turkey, North Macedonia and Romania come to Zlatograd, the Golden Town of the Rhodopes, for several days of football, friendship and celebration.
Matches are played at Arena Zlatograd, a stadium with a natural grass pitch of 100 × 70 m, floodlights, 2,000 seats and dressing rooms for hosts and guests. Teams stay in central hotels with their own parking and swimming pools, and the food is built on organic Rhodope produce.
What makes it different
- A gold medal for every child, and gifts from our sponsors for every player, coach and parent
- Cups for the top three in every age group, awards for the best goalkeeper, defender, top scorer and most valuable player, and a team award for fair play
- Live commentary, interviews with the young players and matches streamed online
- An excursion to the Old Town, games for parents and children, a disco and fireworks at the closing ceremony
Getting there
Zlatograd is 330 km from Sofia and 150 km from Plovdiv, both with international airports. The Greek border is 4 km away and the beaches of the Aegean Sea about 78 km.
